Yep, I can plan art for the laundry room too and every other space you have, as well as some that you didn't notice!  Perhaps you want to start or continue a family gallery wall, incorporating older images with the new portraits you are commissioning. I can make that happen.

It's where you share the scoop on your family and kids. Their personalities? Who’s most sensitive? Who’s the rebel? Understanding your family dynamics allows me to capture their personalities and their relationships as they really are.

Your every question will be answered, including:

What types of clothing photograph best?

A full understanding of the investment you’ll be making?

What are the most suitable areas of your home for your family portraits?

And all burning questions such as whether or not to bring the family pet (“yes!”)

WARDROBE COLLAB

At your Design Consultation you have a good idea of what everyone should wear. I am available to consult about your outfits via phone, email, or zoom meeting, and at least one week prior to your shoot we will finalize outfits together, allowing plenty of time for last minute changes and/or dry cleaning.

YOUR PHOTO SHOOT

If you’ve had your family photographed before, you may recall that it can be the teeniest bit stressful. Dad’s not on board, the kids didn’t are cranky, the teens are soooo uninterested in doing a family thing... Not to worry. As the mother of two grown kiddos, I'm familiar with all types all all stages. Just get them dressed and be ready at our scheduled shoot time, and I'll handle the rest. 

Your session with me is a very relaxed and fun experience. We’ll smile & laugh, and I’ll capture genuine moments full of real emotion. Capturing the REALNESS, and show you exactly how beautiful that is. And if you have energetic kids-we'll let them do what they do best: run, jump, play, cry and we ROLL with all of it!

In the end your photos will tell a beautiful story, showing exactly who you and your family are during this season of life. And as you grow, adapt and change, you’ll have these memories hanging on your wall, or hand crafted in a storybook, reminding you just how precious every little moment is.

WARNING: You'll probably find that everyone has a good time in the end! 

VIEW & ORDER APPOINTMENT (VERY IMPORTANT)

Two weeks after your photo shoot, you will come to the studio for the BIG REVEAL! (which is your View and Order appointment). This is the time set aside to finalize your portrait order, so be sure and schedule a time when all decision makers will be there.

Using our state-of-the-art software and photos of the walls in your home, I will show your portraits scaled onto your walls, which takes the guesswork out of what size to order; not too big, not too small--just right!

I will guide you every step of the way using your goals from our consultation to achieve your vision for your family portraits.

DELIVERY & INSTALLATION

Most clients prefer having their portraits delivered and installed (about 4-6 weeks after placing order). This service eliminates the “a little to the left” discussions between well-meaning husbands and micro-managing wives (or vice versa;). Let my guy handle the heavy lifting and hanging.

IT'S SHOWTIME

Yay. All the hard work is complete. Your family is adorning the walls of your home. Your story takes center place on your coffee table and your phone has blown up with texts about the fabulousness of your holiday cards. Take a moment and fill your heart with gratitude for creating those beautiful little beings and enjoy seeing the people you love on the walls of your home. Every. Single. Day. Smile Away!

WHAT's NEXT? THE LONG TERM PLAN

Being so thrilled that your portraits are hung with care, what happens as your kiddos keep growing and changing?

Well you're part of my family now, and l’ll help you create a vision for future sessions based on the ages and stages of your children AND the design vision for your home. My artwork is curated to look good now AND be able to move throughout your home as we add to your family art collection over time. I can work with you and your interior designer so it's perfectly styled.
